Course Description

Financial Accounting is sometimes called the language for business. It is the language managers use to communicate financial and economic information about the company to creditors and shareholders. Financial illiteracy is something that no one can afford to be in business. You need to be able understand financial information, communicate with controllers and financial managers, regardless of whether you own a business or work in management. You love to talk business!

This course will teach you the basics of accounting language. After completion, you will be able to understand and read financial statements in order to aid business decision-making and diagnosis. You will also have the ability to continue learning advanced accounting and finance concepts on your own. Remember that accounting is a language that must be practiced.
