Course Description

This class teaches you how to animate a walk cycle with just 8 to 10 drawings. The instructor will guide you through the steps they use when animating characters. First, you will create keyframe poses using stick figures. Then, you will add in-between drawings to create smooth animation. After that, you will add shapes to complete your characters and move on to clean up drawings. The instructor will explain why they don't animate the head during the cleanup stage. Once your character is complete, you will learn how to add colors to bring them to life. Additionally, the instructor will show you how to use green screens in your animation and make your walk cycle as long as possible. These techniques can help speed up your animation workflow and are great for beginners in character animation.
