Course Description

It can be difficult to create 3D models of organic shapes without the right tools. This course will teach you how to create a 3D model for a train station using NURBS and other complex geometries. To create the building elements, you'll first learn how to use both basic and advanced 3D modeling tools such as NURBS. You will then learn how to use different editing tools to modify and improve the design. You will also learn how to create presentation and documentation drawings from the 3D model. This is done using very efficient tools. After completing this AutoCAD course you will not only be able to model a train station but also have the skills and knowledge to create and present your own projects in AutoCAD. AutoCAD 2016 is required.

Skills You Will Gain

What You Will Learn

You will learn how to make a 3D model of a train station with its organic roof and other complex geometries

First, you will learn how to work with basic and advanced 3D modeling tools, including NURBS, to create all the building elements

Next, you will learn how to apply different editing tools on them, in order to improve and fine tune their design

Finally, you will see how to quickly create documentation and presentation drawings directly from the 3D model, with very efficient tools

When you're finished with this AutoCAD course, you'll not only have modeled a train station, but you'll also have the knowledge and skills to create and present your own projects and concepts in AutoCAD

Software required AutoCAD 2016
