Course Description

The UI/UX Design Specialization offers a design-centric approach for user interface and user experience design. It provides practical, skill-based instruction that is centered on visual communication rather than a marketing or programming perspective. This series of four courses will cover all aspects of the UI/UX design process. From user research, to defining a project's strategy, scope and information architecture to creating sitemaps, wireframes, and developing sitemaps, this course will provide a summary and demonstration. Learn current UX design best practices and how to apply them to create compelling and engaging screen-based user experiences for apps and websites. Although user interface and user experience design are a highly-demanding field, the skills and knowledge gained in this Specialization can be applied to many careers, including marketing, web design, and human-computer interaction. Students enrolled in the UI/UX Design Specialization can receive a one-month extended free trial of Optimal Workshop's full UX tool suite. You can find more information in Course 3 of this Specialization, Web Design Strategy and Information Architecture.
