Web Application Development with JavaScript and MongoDB

This course will help you to develop advanced web application programming skills. This course will teach you how to control data access and read/write access through methods, publish, and subscribe. You'll learn how to access your server shells and database using command-line tools. The SimpleSchema system will be used to validate data and automatically generate input forms. TextCircle is a collaborative code editor environment that was built entirely from scratch.

This course will teach you how to: – Use Meteor methods for data write access control – Use publish and subscribe to restrict data read access control - Install and use advanced Meteor package - Add user accounts to your applications – Implement complex MongoDB filters using the MongoDB shells - Create data validation schemas using SimpleSchema. - Generate data input forms automatically with SimpleSchema. You will need to complete 2 programming assignments each that take 4 hours. Each quizzes takes 5 minutes.
