Course Description

Governments, companies and individuals have greater access to data than ever before, with zettabytes of data collected each year. It can be difficult to find the right places to look for key insights and trends that will drive business decisions with so much data. Data mining is the first layer of abstraction from raw data. It extracts patterns and helps to make business decisions. You'll also learn how to use mathematical theory and decision-making techniques to analyze big data, clustering, classification, clustering and association rule mining. This course was designed by Arizona State University faculty. You can earn the Big Data MasterTrack Certificate by completing online studies for 6-9 month. This certificate will allow you to access the online Master of Computer Science degree from Arizona State University.
