Course Description

This course will help teachers in vocational education and training (VET), understand the benefits of blended learning. This course will help you to make technology more effective to support learners and how to embed it in your classroom. You will be supported by industry experts and connected with teachers and trainers who are familiar with the practical issues of blended learning. To help your learners get used to the new digital workplaces, you'll need to be able to incorporate digital learning into your teaching. Blended learning is a method that allows you to learn and apply the principles in different settings. You will learn from other educators how they have overcome similar difficulties. While you may be better equipped to support blended learning in your virtual learning environment than others, it is still a good idea to have additional resources. This course will provide a review of your VLE options, as well as a variety of educational resources that can be used to expand your options. After you have a solid understanding of the resources and principles, it is time to start designing your own approach. After completing this course, you will have a solid understanding of blended learning and an improved understanding of the options available to you when using it in your teaching. The Expert Track will take you to the next course, which focuses more on implementation. The CPD Certification Service has accredited this course, so it can be used as evidence of your professional growth.
