Course Description

Throughout this tutorial we will be using Maya's new suite tools, XGen. Originally developed by Disney Animation Studios, XGen allows the user to create curves, spheres or other custom geometry on a model's surface. You can control these instances using a variety of intuitive tools such as guides, curves, expressions, and grooming brushes. We will add feathers, hair, and fur to a basic Pegasus model to demonstrate key areas of XGen. You will have a good understanding of XGen by the end of the training and you will be able to use this powerful tool in future projects. The horse model is provided to you by www.nonecg.com. Maya 2014 required.
