Course Description

What is Cryptocurrency? How is it an innovative, efficient and cost-effective way to exchange currency? This course is for people and companies who wish to understand how to invest in cryptocurrency. Sarah Hammer and Jessica Wachter will help you to create a framework that allows for both Cryptocurrency as well as Blockchain. Learn how to identify a currency, analyse the foundations for digital signatures, and the blockchain technology in cryptocurrency. Also, you'll be able to accurately evaluate the risks associated with cryptocurrency in an investment portfolio. This course will give you a solid understanding of Cryptocurrency and the intricacies Blockchain technology. Although there are no prerequisites, "Fintech, Foundations, Payments and Regulations" is recommended by Wharton's Fintech Specialization.
