This microcredential will teach you how cyber security professionals deal with an active or recent cyber threat. This microcredential will teach you how to resolve cybercrime and how to conduct legal investigations.

This exciting area will be taught to you by the internationally recognized Cisco CyberOps Associate certification.

Cyber security spending worldwide is expected to reach APS102.5 trillion in 2022. Projections for IT security analysts' employment are projected to increase 32% between 2018-2028.

Use the skills you have learned in this microcredential as a starting point for your career as a cyber security consultant architect or engineer.

This microcredential meets all the requirements of the Common Microcredential Framework

This microcredential is for anyone who wants to master the many skills required for a career in cyber security

It is recommended that you have a good general understanding of computer technology and a technical experience from a computing, IT or industry qualification

However, all required skills and foundational knowledge are covered within this microcredential

It is essential that you are able to access a device capable of running a virtual machine

Please note: From November 2021 some of the content of this microcredential will be duplicated within OU Module Network security
