Course Description

What is penetration testing? It's easy, security professionals have the job of making it difficult for anyone to access our systems. You can't stop attackers. Your job is to slow them down. How? Let's begin by doing exactly the same thing as the attacker. Penetration testing (or pen testing) refers to the act of attacking your network or the network of a client using the same tools and techniques as an attacker. Pen testing serves to uncover weaknesses and potential entry points, but not cause any damage. This course will teach you how to conduct a pen test and how to report the results.
