Course Description

We will be focusing on Illustrator CS5 in a series of lessons. We will start by understanding the basics of Illustrator CS5. Next, we will learn what Illustrator calls an object and how to modify these objects. After we have mastered the art of creating and editing objects, we will learn how to manage objects with layers and groups. We'll then look at how to create advanced objects using the knowledge we have. We will also learn how Illustrator handles color, type, and other details. We'll also learn about Illustrator CS5's new features and tools. We'll finish the course by learning how Illustrator exports and saves our artwork. Software required: Illustrator CS5.
