Course Description

This course will teach you how to create lesson plans that meet the needs of your ELL students. It also focuses on cognitive demands and content language analysis. This course will teach you how to align language goals with the standards adopted by your school and content area. This course will teach you how to modify and create graphic organizers and language frames that support ELLs' access. Lesson planning will be influenced by second language acquisition theories.
