Course Description

This course will teach you how to create, compile and execute Procedures and Functions. Packages are program units, which are pre-compiled and stored within the database. These powerful programming constructs increase the reusability and efficiency of code. We'll also discuss how to pass parameters between these subprograms. Along with the authid clause, we will talk about roles and privileges when compiling or executing subprograms. We'll also discuss local subprograms, and calling functions from SQL statements. These concepts are essential and will allow you to write high-performing PL/SQL codes.
