Course Description

This programme will teach you the fundamental concepts and ideas of natural language processing (NLP) and provide an overview of the most recent research. You will gain a deep understanding of both the algorithms used to process linguistic information as well as the underlying computational properties that underlie natural languages. Deep learning approaches will be the focus. This includes implementing, training and debugging neural network models for a variety language understanding tasks. You will move from word-level and syntactic processing through question answering and machine translation. You will use a complex neural network model to solve a large-scale NLP issue for your final project.

As you progress through the program, you will learn how to:
