Procedural ICE Modeling in Softimage

This tutorial will show you how to build an advanced ICE modeling compound that can control the copying an element with two control curves. To create the base stair element, we will begin the tutorial creating ICE extrusions using curves and strands. Next, we'll create duplicates of our element within an empty mesh. Next, we will create a control curve and find the transformations along the curve. Then, we will transform our copies so that they are on the curve. We'll then create another curve to control other aspects and package it all into a compound. Next, we will learn how to create controls that allow us to modify our copies easily without needing to know our ICE tree. Softimage 2012 SP1 is required.
