Course Description

This tutorial will show you how to transform live action footage into a comic-style drawing. To create the zombie drawings, we first re-timing the footage. Then we discuss the steps involved in creating these drawings in Adobe Illustrator. However, this discussion is not intended to be step-by-step as we want to concentrate on After Effects. After importing the drawings, we begin animating our transitions in After Effects. This animation style is created by learning how to create custom alphas and animate with expressions. You will be able to create your own animated zombie transition and have learned some general tips for transitioning from animation to live action. After Effects CS6 is required.
