Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati (IIITG) was established in August 2013. It is an institution of National Importance under the Act of Parliament, 2017. The university strives to be attentive to the academic needs of each student. As per the official website, IIIT Guwahati mission is to make innovation an integral part of the teaching process. IIITG offers B.Tech courses in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Computer Science Engineering (CSE), M.Tech in CSE and ECE and Ph.D programme in CSE, ECE, Mathematics, Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS). Lab facilities like Digital Design Lab, Electronics Lab, Signal Processing Lab, Communication Lab, Microwave Engineering Lab, Embedded Systems Lab, VLSI Lab and Robotics Lab are offered to the students of IIITG to use the academic resources most efficiently.
