Established in 2009 by the Government of Haryana, OP Jindal Global University (JGU) is a private university recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as the ‘Institute of Eminence’. The varsity has been accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ grade. Furthermore, the university is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU). JGU campus covers an area of 81 acres and there are more than 800+ faculty members at the campus. It has a 1:9 faculty student ratio. The university offers a total of 4 courses at UG, PG and doctoral level. JSAT/ACT/SAT/LSAT-India and CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT/GRE/NMAT/CMAT/ATMA scores are accepted for admission to B.A. (Hons) Environmental Studies and M.B.A. Digital Finance and Banking programmes, respectively. The university has collaborations with numerous overseas universities to provide global exposure to students. The students of the varsity are provided with numerous scholarships.
