Established in 1916, SNDT Women’s University was founded by Maharshi Dr Dhondo Keshav Karve. The university has four campuses located at Churchgate, Juhu, Mumbai and Karve Road, Pune. Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women's University headquarters is in Churchgate Campus, Mumbai. SNDT Womens’ University has 39 departments, 13 institutions and 166 affiliated colleges.
