Computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinists are responsible for operating machine tools to create metallic pieces. They set up industrial machinery and oversee its functioning. CNC machinists must be able to interpret and use blueprints for specific piece design, as well as calibrate equipment to follow product specifications.
