Course Description

This course will help you understand stream processing. The course uses Kafka to help you understand real-time stream processing. It also teaches you how to use that knowledge to teach Kafka programming techniques.

This course uses Apache Kafka 2.x's Kafka Streams library. All examples and source code for Apache Kafka 2.3 open source distribution have been tested. Confluent Platform functionalities like Schema Registry, Avro Serdes and more will be explained and explored using the Confluent Community Version. This course makes extensive usage of Apache Maven and IntelliJ IDEA as the preferred development IDE. Log4J2 or JUnit5 will be used to implement industry-standard logs in your application, and unit test cases.
