Introducing WidgetKit for iOS: Adding a Simple Widget to Your iOS App

To allow users to use widgets, create new apps or update existing apps that are compatible with older iOS versions. Apple has introduced a new way for iPhone users to update their iPhone home screens. To keep their most important information at their fingertips, they can use widgets to update their home screens. Add widget capabilities to your apps to keep them current and relevant. We will create a demo app that will include a static widget that will automatically update the widget on your home screen when information in the app changes.
