Course Description

You need to be able to use the SQL Server SELECT statement to retrieve data. This course covers the basics of SELECT and its sub-clauses. It then moves on to the use of the SELECT statement to select multiple sources from the same statement. Finally, it also includes a section that explains the various functions available to manipulate and aggregate data and convert data during the select operation. These essential operations are explained in more than fifty demos. The demo environment is free and easy to setup. This course is ideal for developers who are new to SQL Server databases and need to retrieve data. It can be used as a reference or a starting point. This course is applicable to all versions of SQL Server 2005 and beyond.
