Bangalore University (BU), Bangalore came into existence in 1964. 721 colleges and institutions have been affiliated under BU. The university is approved and recognized by UGC, and it offers UG, PG, Diploma, and certification courses for interested candidates. BU aims to cater to the academic needs of students pursuing various courses, through their unique style of teaching and the use of practical knowledge for student’s skill development. In NIRF 2021 Ranking, Bangalore University has been ranked 69th in the university category. The varsity has been ranked 100th in the overall category as per the NIRF ranking for the year 2020.
