Seoul National University was established in 1946 and is the most prestigious university of Korea. There are three campuses at the university: Gwanak-gu's main campus and two additional campuses in Pyeongchang and Daehangno. The university has sixteen colleges and one graduate school. It also has nine professional schools. Nearly 17,000 undergraduate students and 11,000 graduate students make up the student body.
