The ability to deliver a powerful message through a few select words and images is a must. Copywriters spend most of their time developing slogans and advertisements using the creative process. This generally involves meeting with the client to discuss audience and concepts they want to portray. The copywriter must then use this basic understanding to develop a few unique ideas to present to the client, and then modify them to suit the client’s needs. Eventually, they oversee the final production of the material.Typical working days are Monday to Friday during regular business hours. Sometimes a copywriter will be required to travel to meetings with clients, although he or she generally works out of a studio or office.
