Course Description

This specialization will help you create your own business. This course will address a series of topics that are essential for creating a successful business, including mindset, strategy, planning, action, and ideation. Instead of just explaining what you should do, we will guide you through the actual process. All of the lessons and tools discussed in the Capstone course will be available to you for your business launch. Although it may not be the perfect business, it will give you the ability to launch something you love.

Be able to argue effectively against all of the reasons for not starting their business (or reaching some goal)

Be able to operate effectively within the new framework or model for starting a business (or any new endeavor), thus increasing their chances for success

Build a resource inventory from which they can assess and create market opportunities

Pursue market opportunities consistent with personal passions and capabilities

Complete a business model summarizing assumptions about what value they will offer to whom, and how they will make money
