This Lab will use a Cloud source repository. The idea behind this service is to add development to the cloud in order to provide greater security and availability. We will create a Repository, a sample project, and then make changes to the files.

What is Google Cloud Source Repository and what does it mean?

Git version control system for supporting the development of any app or service.

In collaboration with other Google Cloud Repository such as Cloud Build, automatically build and test the source code.

Why Google Cloud Source Repository?

Consider a situation where your local repo is corrupted. You are losing your valuable data? Then, the Google Cloud repository with Automatic Syncing is available and high availability.

Consider another scenario in which you want developers from your organization to contribute directly to your repository, but your repo remains local.

It is easy to use, as you only need to know the basics of git to use the Cloud Source Repository.

It works just like git and gives you unlimited access private repositories that are highly available.

You can also track versions by tracking the ID.
