The Assistant Manager, Property Management is responsible for assisting the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of a property management company. They will directly manage a variety of residential and commercial properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction and adherence to lease agreements. This includes conducting property inspections, handling maintenance requests, and resolving tenant complaints. The Assistant Manager will also assist with marketing and leasing efforts, including conducting property showings, screening prospective tenants, and preparing lease agreements. They will coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance and repairs. In addition, the Assistant Manager will assist with financial management tasks such as rent collection, processing invoices, and preparing financial reports. They will assist in developing and implementing property management policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The Assistant Manager, Property Management must have excellent communication and customer service skills, as they will interact with tenants, property owners, and staff members on a daily basis. This position requires strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
