This advanced course, which lasts three weeks, is offered by Taipei Medical University. It teaches you how to provide better pharmaceutical services and improve your professional skills as a pharmacist.

This course builds upon the previous course. We recommend that you take the introductory course if you are new to pharmaceutical services.

Automate your medication safety and dispensing skills

Automation has led to a rise in efficiency and processes across many industries, including the medical and pharmacy sectors.

This course will cover the purpose of automation in pharmacy practice, and how it can be used to improve patient safety and dispensing. You'll learn about the different types of medication errors and how you can prevent them.

Assess and evaluate the ethical decisions made in pharmacy practice

It is vital that pharmacists are aware of and adhere to ethical principles in order to ensure patient safety. A pharmacist's key skill is the ability to evaluate and assess ethical decisions.

You will learn about ethics in pharmacy practice, including bioethics and pharmacy ethics. To gain a better understanding of ethics, you will also examine the American Pharmaceutical Association's pharmacy codes of ethics.
