This course will teach you all about microbiology. This course will give you the foundation for further research and practice in microbiology. You will learn how to identify microbes and antimicrobials and antibiotics. You will be able to navigate all aspects of microbiology, including the name, principle and process.

This course will help you understand the structure and classification of microbes and how they can be used to cause disease.

This course will teach you how to identify antimicrobial resistance and its drivers, mechanisms, and co-resistance. You will learn about microbes, antimicrobials and what antimicrobial resistance (AMR), is.

Learn the basics of superbugs and analyze the results of Antimicrobial Susceptibility Test (AST). This includes their breaking points, cutoff settings and application in clinical contexts.

Learn how to collect samples and specimens in order to detect microbes. Also learn about methods to test for antimicrobial susceptibility within a laboratory setting.

Study PK-PD models to learn how antimicrobials move through the body.
