Course Description

Many designers and drafters are baffled by the task of creating a part with an organic, curved shape. This course, Inventor Essentials Organic Shapes Using loft, will show you how to use the loft tool (also available in other 3D modeling engineering programs) to create even the most difficult freeform shapes. You'll first learn about the history of the loft tool, and then you'll get a brief overview of its operation. Next, you will learn in detail how loft creates organic shapes with its various toolset. The skeletal modeling method uses master sketches to create 3D geometry. After completing this Inventor course you will not only be able to build any part in 3D but you will also be the person who can help you create the most complicated parts in your office.
