This specialization introduces you to the world of Supply Chain Management. The program will give you a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by companies in today's globalized economy. If you are looking for a job in Supply Chain Management but don't have the necessary background, the Specialization is right for you. 2. You're interested in working with Supply Chain Management people and learning more about their day-to-day challenges. 3. You're intrigued by the interconnectedness of the global economy through the flow and information. The Supply Chain Management Specialization consists of four courses that cover logistics, operations planning, sourcing and sourcing. A capstone course in Supply Chain Management Strategy completes the program. The Supply Chain Logistics course covers logistics, inventory, transportation, and network design. Supply Chain Operations focuses on techniques that optimize flow. It focuses particularly on Six Sigma quality and lean practices. The Supply Chain Planning course will teach you how to forecast using different methods. The Supply Chain Sourcing course teaches you how to create long-lasting and productive supplier relationships.
