Chitkara University (CU), Patiala is a government-accredited institution that was established in the year 2010 to confer degrees as in step with the Sections 2(f) and 22(1) of the UGC Act, 1956. The sprawling 70-acre Punjab campus of the University is equidistant from Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Ambala and Patiala.
