Course Description

Blender Introduction LiveLessons gives a complete overview of Blender, a free and open-source software that creates 3D graphics and animations for animated films, visual effects and interactive video games.

Oliver Villar, Blender Foundation Certified Trainer, starts from scratch downloading and installing Blender. Next, he dives into the interface with basic controls. Before creating a scene, you need to learn how to manipulate objects. He then goes deeper and explains how to create your own models, unwrapping, shading, and more in Blender Render as well as Cycles. A brief introduction to animation and rigging allows designers to modify and animate their models. The rendering and compositing processes are also explained to help you create the final image or video. This course is designed to guide beginners through the basic Blender features and help them understand how 3D works.
