Course Description

Learn the fundamental knowledge and skills in network security and for forensics to ensure cybersecurity in enterprise environments.

This Cybersecurity MicroMasters course will teach you:

  • Network fundamentals
  • Administration of systems
  • How to protect computer networks by reducing vulnerabilities and monitoring intrusions
  • How to conduct digital forensic analysis of cybercrime to gather information about the nature and extent the attack in order to present it to a court of justice, as well as assess the extent of damage to an organisation.
  • Techniques for risk analysis
  • Assessment of vulnerability and risk.

For verified learners, the MicroMasters capstone experience involves practical demonstration of these skills.
