Course Description

Today's compositing software includes a good selection of stereo-based toolsets. These allow the compositor both to do 2D and 3D-based work. The compositor will be able to understand how to use the tools and also how to create simple stereo-based toolsets in Nuke. This will allow them to truly immerse themselves into stereo-based compositing. This course, Nuke Stereoscopic compositing and conversion, will teach you how to create and remove stereo imagery in a matter of seconds. You'll first learn about Stereoscopic 3D and its workflow. Then, you will also be able to identify key stereo-related phrases. You'll then learn how to create a stereo convergence tool and a more complicated stereo conversion tool. You'll also learn how to modify pre-existing stereo imagery using two methods. You will be able to operate in a stereo-based compositing environment by the end of the course. Software required: Nuke 10.
