IIM Raipur is a premium Management institute established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, in 2010. The institute is spread across 200 acres of land provided by the government of Chhattisgarh in the Atal Nagar area of Raipur. IIM Raipur is ranked 15th in the NIRF Rankings 2021 under the management category whereas, in 2020 the college was ranked 19th in the same category.
IIM Raipur offers 4 programmes namely Post Graduate Programme in Management, Post Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives, Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), and Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM). IIM Raipur facilities include state-of-the-art classrooms specially designed to enhance learning, on-campus accommodation and mess, sports facilities and access to bank branches and ATMs amongst others.
IIM Raipur has international collaborations with 19 universities across the globe and is actively involved in student and faculty exchange programmes and research collaborations. At the national level, IIMR collaborates with the Government of Chhattisgarh, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur, National Law School of India University, Bangalore, Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, New Delhi, and the National Entrepreneurship Network. IIM Raipur plans to establish centres of excellence in fields such as Health Management, Energy Management, etc.
The institute is located at 4RCF+5W5, Cheriya, Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh. IIM Raipur is easily accessible by train, buses and flight. The Swami Vivekananda International Airport, Raipur is at a distance of 20.5 km from the campus. Cabs and buses are available to travel to and from the airport. All major cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata are connected to Raipur by air. Alternatively, the Raipur Railway station is at a distance of approximately 11 km from the IIM Raipur campus. There are daily trains that connect Raipur to major Indian cities. The nearest bus stop is the BRTS bus stop at a distance of 5.1km from the campus.
