A IT (IT) security engineer is accountable for the security of the computer network and their business. In the beginning of the security cycle the security architect serves as a project manager to organize, conduct research and design the elements of security. The security architect begins by defining a general plan as well as a list of features to be planned and functions. The security architect delegates tasks to the members of the team of programmers to create the necessary modules for creating the security architecture. Once the components have been developed, the security architect integrates the security components and starts testing the security structure in order to make sure it functions in the way it was intended. The IT security architect creates company guidelines and procedures to govern the employees of their company to utilize the security systems. After analyzing various authentication methods and methods, the security architect chooses the best scheme and then implements the chosen protocols.

It is also the IT security architect also takes care of any issues or tickets regarding the system.
