Course Description

Digitalisation is changing society and working world. It creates new processes and drastically alters existing workflows. Like every scientific field, aerospace is also being affected by digitalisation. Innovation without it is impossible. The MOOC series "Digitalisation in Aeronautics and Space" consists of three parts. It examines the changes that have occurred and the likely future changes. This raises the question: What will aerospace science look like in the future and how will digitalisation impact research. This question is being addressed by a variety of research areas, including artificial intelligence in Earth observation, robotics in production, and digital avionics network.
