Course Description

This scenario-driven, hands-on course will help you quickly master Google Analytics. You can start measuring your websites' performance today. This course explains how Google Analytics collects visitor activity. It also reveals when that data will be available in reports. The course also provides step-by-step instructions for setting up default tracking on your site. We then discuss the different types of activity that you can track, and how to enable tracking for common scenarios. This includes tracking page views and events, e-commerce transactions and social love (e.g. Likes), as well as marketing campaigns. Then we will discuss some ways to protect yourself against noise and information overload. Finally, we will show you how to use Google Analytics Core reporting and Management API's directly from your own apps and consider using Google Analytics in mobile devices.
