Course Description

In this four-week course offered by University of Michigan. University of Michigan, you'll not just learn to utilize Rhino, the Rhino program to build the 3D designs, however you'll also acquire basic design skills to bring your ideas to reality. This course will help you understand 3D modeling in Rhino and will cover the basics of the software and 3D modeling generally. The first step is to learn ways to use the interface as well as the various tools will be used to create models during this course. You'll be familiar to 3D space, 3D world and 3D objects prior to diving into creating your own models and blocks. Design is an essential aspect in 3D modelling. You could be an expert of the software, but If you don't know the basic design principles and concepts, you'll be unable to fully unleash your potential. You'll develop your fundamental design abilities by studying shapes, lines, forms and space. You'll then work on making and editing 2D lines which you can transform into patterns mandalas as well as 3D tile wall designs.
