Course Description

The design style of Memphis is very popular in 2022.

This course will teach you how to create basic lines and repeating shapes that are typical of Memphis design. You will also learn how to create paint splatters, and then combine them into a seamless repeating pattern.

This class was created with the goal of creating shapes that can be used with a variety of Illustrator tools and techniques. You will learn new skills while creating your pattern. I will also show you how to choose and configure a color scheme and how to recolor your finished patterns using Illustrator's Recolor Artwork tool.

This course is for both intermediate and advanced Illustrator users.

This is how I have organized it so that you can follow along with me as I create this design.
