Course Description

This Specialization will teach you industry-standard theory as well as methods to create user interfaces (UIs) that are successful. After completing this Specialization you will be able to use the prototyping, user research and evaluation techniques required for creating user-friendly interfaces. This fluency will be demonstrated through a detailed Capstone Project, which can be presented to potential employers in the rapidly-growing field. Structured approaches to helping you understand your users and their needs (e.g. Contextual inquiry and design psychology, widely-used prototyping and design techniques (e.g. Low-fidelity and paper prototyping, and robust methods for helping you assess your design choices (e.g. User studies and heuristic evaluation. You will feel confident using these concepts and techniques to create an interface that is accessible to a variety of users around the globe by the end of this Specialization.
