The assistant human resources (HR) manager supports the human resources manager with various tasks in the human resources department. The assistant HR manager is the point of contact for employees who need help with human resources-related issue such as questions about payroll, benefits, or employment verifications. During audits, the assistant HR manager provides reports and records needed to investigate any incidents. This individual is accountable for employee training, including new-hire orientation, specialty training, and safety training.
The assistant human resources manager must display professionalism and confidentiality due to the exposure to sensitive information. This position requires a bachelor’s degree. The typical workday takes place during regular business hours.
