Course Description

This course is the beginning of your journey as a 3D artist. This course will prepare you to create 3D models for video games, image renderings, and 3D animation. The process of 3D modeling is the same for motion graphics and 3D printing. The important thing is to understand the basics of 3D modeling and why you are here.

Two hours of high-quality content that is concise and to the point. This course is designed to teach you the most important features of 3D modeling. It uses repetition and includes interesting modeling exercises. As the course progresses, the difficulty of the exercises will increase. You don't need to complete a 20-hour course in order to learn something that you can do in two hours.

What you'll Learn:

  • How to create game assets for game engines such as Unity and Unreal

  • How to make low and high-polymodels

  • The most important mods that speed up and make your work easier

  • How to add different materials into 3D models

  • How to light the environment

  • How to set up a camera prior to rendering

  • How to render an Image of a 3D Environment

  • How to optimize your rendering settings to produce high quality renders that don't take too much time to render

  • How to avoid the most common mistakes made by beginners in 3D modeling

  • General tips to speed up 3D modeling

  • The main keyboard shortcuts to 3D modeling in Blender

  • Making a 3D model of different primitive shapes

  • Different types of 3D models can be used for different purposes.
