Course Description

In this course, we address the common issue of teams and groups in organizations needing to learn from past mistakes. Recognizing that teams are vital for getting work done within organizations, we explore the reasons behind their ineffectiveness. These include a lack of support and organizational structures, a lack of understanding and focus on learning, and inadequate reward structures.

To foster a learning culture within our teams, we need to take practical and effective action. This course provides insights on how to understand teams within the larger organizational context. By identifying the learning strengths and barriers in teams, we can find ways to create groups and teams that continuously learn from the larger organization and make positive impacts.

Creating an environment that encourages innovation and learning is crucial. We will learn strategies for developing a team culture that values continuous learning. This includes training teams to embrace a culture of learning and developing training programs specifically designed for creating a strong team culture.

By implementing these strategies, we can transform the current state of affairs within our teams and organizations. We can enhance team effectiveness and drive innovation by focusing on fostering a learning culture.
