The Structured Query Language (SQL)

This course will teach you everything about Structured Query Language ("SQL"). This course will cover the history and conceptual basis of this language. We will be focusing on the syntax and all standard SQL commands. This is how we can use them to analyze the data in a relational table. This course covers the SELECT statement to retrieve data, create analytical reports and the DDL (Data Definition Language) and DML (Data Manipulation Language) commands that are necessary for creating and maintaining database objects. The MS-DS degree is multidisciplinary and brings together professors from CU Boulderas Departments of Applied Mathematics Computer Science Information Science. The MS-DS program is open to individuals who have a wide range of education, professional experience, or a high level of performance.
