Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, Dundigal was founded in 2000 and is administered by the Maruthi Educational Society built by eminent professionals and industrialists. It is the first institution to introduce the B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering in Telangana and has eventually evolved into an advanced multidisciplinary technical university. Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, Dundigal is a popular autonomous Engineering College conducting eleven B.Tech, six M.Tech and MBA programmes. Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, Dundiga is approved by AICTE; also officially recognized by Telangana Govt. Presently, Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, Dundigal is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council with grade “A”. The Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, Dundigal is ranked 159 in the category of Engineering according to NIRF in 2021 with a score of 34.61 out of 100.
